There has been a tremendous amount of snow the past week or so here in Pennsylvania. We have had some interesting animal encounters because of all the snow.

A junco got trapped on our screened-in porch so he hung out on the wood pile for a little bit.

This hawk caught a squirrel in our front yard.

I have enjoyed observing how the light moves and reflects off of the snow.

I especially like the variation of blue in the shadows these pines are casting.
